patience

how does one learn patience? i have my youth group back in helena which absolutely drives me nuts, but i feel obligated to be there because most the people in that youth group look up to me and i feel i have to set a good example and help guide these students. but how can i make myself deal with them when they're causing me to want to shoot something or someone? is it just my frame of mind and i need to reevaluate the things that bug me? should i look at their immaturity as innocence and almost cute rather than just an annoyance? how does one learn patience in such a short period of time?
