The Mountain Poem

"How he had recomposed the pines,
Shifted the rocks and picked his way among the clouds,"

From this poem i feel these are the 2 most important lines. They outline how he had created a place for just himself, or something that he had altered or shifted to fit him, shape it just the way he wanted. It's very important for everyone to have a place of their very own, something just the way they want, something, or somewhere they can have things fit their needs and wants so precicely. For certain people it may be a house, a family, maybe a tree fort, for some it could be a studio, or even artwork, it could even be a frame of mind, somewhere to escape and be alone, or something you can take pride in. Everyone needs projects and/or goals in their lives, these lines of this poem show how the character had adjusted things the way he wanted, it wasn't something that just happened in a day, but it took time and effort and something that was carefully planned out just how he wanted. These things, places, goals, or projects in life, are the things that keep us going, that is why they are so important.
